MJW volunteers to help Homestretch for CPA Day of Service.May 21, 2012
MJW assisted Homestretch by painting and fixing up a home in Northern Virginia to be used by a family participating in their program. Homestretch is an organization that helps give families the opportunity to tranform their lives permanently. Many of their clients are victims of domestic abuse, trapped in the cycle of poverty and all of their clients have children under the age of 18. They help give the families a safe environment to live in and the tools needed to become self sufficient. The participants work hard and many of them leave homestretch debt free and with college degrees. Their success stories are truly inspiring.
